Mark Jancola

Mark Jancola currently serves as Executive Vice President of Engineering & Operations for Apptio, Inc. Apptio, a Vista Equity Partners portfolio company, is the business management system of record for hybrid IT. We help technology leaders easily manage their finances to ensure every dollar spent contributes to business value. Our suite of SaaS applications provides insights into technology cost, value, and quality so IT leaders can make faster, better decisions around technology investments. Formerly, Jancola served as the GM of the Apptio Digital Fuel business where he was responsible for all facets of business operations and acquisition integration. From 2009 through 2017, Jancola served as VP, TBM Products and Engineering responsible for defining and delivering on the product strategy to power the flagship business of the company. Jancola built the team, product offerings, and technical operations necessary to go from initial startup to one of the fastest growing, successful enterprise software companies in history. Jancola holds an MBA and BSEE from the University of Washington. He is a regular guest lecturer at the UW and a speaker at industry / technical conferences.
